Bookbindery
Our collection also encompasses the craft of bookbindery. Originally all of the machines and devices belonged to the bookbindery Holm, based in Munich. Edith Holm and her partner Irmgard Meyenberg founded the bookbindery in 1936 and closed down in 1997.

In 2006 the whole workshop was donated to the museum. Here you can find everything that is needed for binding books by hand. You can even learn how to do it yourself in our courses and workshops!
