„Zeit zu drucken 2“

Opening:

Duration:

The results of the artists' four-week work stays at the Museum for the Printing Arts in 2021/22 as part of the artist in residence program, which is being carried out by the Museum for the Printing Arts together with the Giesecke+Devrient Foundation, will be shown.

Participating artists are Marina Božić, Philipp Hennevogl, Hyewon Jang, Greta Magyar and Maria Sainz Rueda. From August to November 2021, they implemented their contemporary projects in the museum using various printing techniques on the historic presses.

For the first time in 2020, the Giesecke+Devrient Foundation and the Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig have announced an artist in residence program. The funding is intended for artistic development in the field of printmaking, i.e. letterpress, intaglio and planographic printing. The Giesecke+Devrient Foundation and the Museum for the Printing Arts also make a contribution to the promotion of artists who focus on printmaking.
